This tour will be guided by a food lover and will allow you to discover Montreal’s true sounds, smells and tastes. Starting in Old Montréal, going through Chinatown and ending in Little Italy, this tour includes several stops to let you enjoy some typical and delightful Montréal specialties. You will discover the smorgasbord of shops and eateries along lively Saint-Laurent Boulevard and enjoy a few local favourites like our bagels (said to be better than New York’s!). By the end of the tour, you will realize that Montréal’s diversity in culture and food is second to none. We will visit the open-air Jean Talon Market, the biggest of its kind in Canada and the United States. Even if this is not your first trip to Montréal, you will certainly love seeing the city from a completely different perspective and will surely want to come back again! Founded in 1860 as the Art Association of Montreal by a group of Montreal art collectors and patrons, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) was one of the first museums in North America to build up an encyclopedic collection worthy of the name. It now numbers over 41,000 works from Antiquity to today, making it unique in Canada.
It comprises paintings, sculptures, graphic arts, photographs and decorative art objects displayed in four pavilions: the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion (international art), the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion (world cultures), the Liliane and David M. Stewart Pavilion (decorative arts and design) and the Claire and Marc Bourgie Pavilion (Quebec and Canadian art). The latter, which was inaugurated in September 2011, includes a 444-seat concert hall – Bourgie Hall – featuring an important group of Tiffany stained glass windows. A fifth wing, the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace devoted to international art and education, has open in late 2016 to launch Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations. Enjoy a guided tour of the museum followed by a Luncheon in a local restaurant.

Pre-Dinner Reception on the Deck of the Fortifications Ballroom with Dinner and entertainment continuing in the Fortifications Ballroom. This more casual format is designed to get all members, guests, speakers and sponsors together for a fun and informal night.
Leaving Saturday Night for a Group Dinner at Portus 360 Restaurant or a free evening for delegates and guests to get together and explore the fantastic restaurants offered in Montreal. Join us for this new informal evening.

La Gioventu Band La Gioventu started in 1979 and its orchestra members are professional studio musicians with international experience. Their strong vocal qualities and elaborate musical talents have allowed them to work with top musicians around the world. Their talent and contribution to La Gioventu makes our orchestra unique and a leader in the entertainment industry.
Alma Faye Brooks
The beautiful American born, Canadian-raised chanteuse Alma Faye Brooks burst on the scene with a bright little number that gave her the first taste of American exposure. “Stop, I Don’t Need No Sympathy” was a horn-laddened number that was released on an RCA Records 12″ single. Followed up by an album on the Casablanca Record label called “Doin‘ It.” Alma co-wrote the album “Doin’ It,” that made noise on an international level. Alma Faye Brooks is a two-time Juno award nominee, 1978 and 1980. Our “Miss Brooks” who loves all genres of music and loves to perform more than ever !
