The course is designed to help the clinician understand immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization concepts and their benefits.
It will focus on the factors and techniques involved in providing an anterior or posterior “Tooth in One Day”, as well as providing “Teeth in One Day” as a full-arch protocol utilizing a team approach. The utilization of current digital, biologic (PRF/ PRP), and restorative modalities will be highlighted. Use of new restorative designs and materials will be demonstrated.

Bio: Dr. Birdi received his dental degree from the University of Saskatchewan and his post-graduate specialty training in both periodontics and prosthodontics from the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow and Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Birdi is an adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and the University of British Columbia where he is involved in research projects and clinical trials. Dr. Birdi also lectures internationally on perio-prosthetic implant therapy. Dr. Birdi is presently the director of the Pacific Institute for Advanced Dental Education which is a learning academy for fellow dentists. He currently practices at the BC Perio Dental Health & Implant Centers in Vancouver & Coquitlam. His practice focuses on comprehensive periodontal and prosthetic treatment with a major focus on esthetics and implant dentistry.
